Budget & Planning
The UCCS Budget & Planning Office is at the forefront of financial strategy, working collaboratively with the campus community to coordinate budget and fiscal planning.
Committed to maintaining fiduciary standards, the Budget & Planning Office actively identifies and facilitates resource allocations, supporting UCCS' pursuit of excellence as a premier research university.
Controller's Office
The UCCS Controller's Office exists to compile, analyze, and interpret financial information of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs for the campus system, federal and state governments, and public and private entities.
The Controller's Office monitors financial activities in all fund groups on campus and is responsible for general, plant fund, contracts, and grants accounting.
Emergency & Safety Services
The mission of the Emergency & Safety Services Division is to enable the UCCS' mission of teaching, research, and service by providing comprehensive Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Fire and Life Safety Services.
Facilities Planning & Construction
The Facilities Services department's primary responsibility is to service campus buildings and properties. It is comprised of the service groups: Custodial, Outdoor Services, Electrical / Maintenance / HVAC / Plumbing, Materials, Acquisitions, & Distribution, and Mailing and Shipping services. These groups are responsible for upkeep and continued operations of the buildings and grounds on the UCCS Campus.
The Planning Design & Construction (PD&C) staff oversees new construction, renovations and minor remodeling projects for the university. This oversight includes hiring architects/engineers, contractors and other professionals in support of these projects. The staff is responsible for ensuring that designs meet code and regulatory requirements and university standards. The department is also responsible for maintaining the records for facilities information including drawings, space data and construction documentation.

The UCCS Facilities Services Department is committed to excellence and sustainability as stewards of the environment, supporting UCCS' mission of innovative education and research in a vibrant community.
Human Resources
The Office of Human Resources assists UCCS faculty and staff with recruiting for open positions, questions about timecards and payroll, team communication and performance concerns, employee accessibility, and many more topics around your employment with UCCS. The team also serves as a conduit to the CU System Employee Services office, which is charged with health and retirement benefits administration.
Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research provides institutional and academic support to guide administrative decision-making at UCCS. We collect and analyze data related to student success, enrollment management, institutional effectiveness, faculty productivity, student learning, and other performance indicators. Our responsibilities include reporting to federal and state entities, managing surveys, administering course evaluations, supporting faculty reviews, leading campus data governance, and responding to ad-hoc data requests in addition to analyzing trends in higher education occurring throughout the United States.
It is our intention to be as accessible and transparent as possible while maintaining data integrity and upholding the privacy and confidentiality of individual unit records.
Mailing Services
The primary function of Mail & Shipping Services is to distribute incoming mail and packages and expedite outgoing letters and packages for Students, Faculty and Staff. We also distribute intercampus mail. The main sources of incoming parcels are the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, OnTrac and Amazon. Once parcels are received, we will scan them into our tracking system and then deliver to the different departments on Campus, as well as the student dorms.
Parking & Transportation
As a nonprofit, self-funded operation, we support the student-centered UCCS mission by providing, managing, and maintaining safe, accessible, equitable and sustainable parking and transportation options that exceeds our community's needs at the lowest possible cost.
Department of Public Safety
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs Public Safety Department ensures the safety and security of the campus through its fully operational police department, 24/7 dispatch center, and dedicated Office of Emergency Management. The police department, staffed by certified law enforcement officers, provides patrol services, crime prevention, and community outreach. The dispatch center handles emergency calls and coordinates timely responses. The Office of Emergency Management oversees campus readiness and response to emergencies, offering training and drills to prepare for various incidents and ensuring a secure environment.
UCCS Policy
The UCCS Policy Office collaborates with various departments to provide guidance, support campus policy implementation, and communicates policy updates to the campus community to promote consistent operations. The office plays a key role in shaping best practices and fostering accountability across UCCS.
